Our SnoPlow Ice Melter is 50# of premium commercial grade ice melt product designed for commercial and residential applications. SnoPlow Ice Melter is a 4-way blend of tech-grade calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium chlorides that are triple-screened to provide uniform spreading with maximum results. The entire blend is then coated with Defrost® to enhance melting power and is then treated with an anti-caking agent to allow easy pouring and extend shelf life.

Defrost

Defrost is an organic anti-icing agent that improves the performance of common ice melting ingredients. Derived from fermented and distilled corn, when used alone it has a freezing point of -78˚F. When combined with common ice melting ingredients, Defrost increases their effectiveness and reduces chloride use by as much 33-50%.

Less Waste

Improved granule sizing allows for maximum control and less waste. Formulated with an organic anti-sticking agent to avoid clumping and provide longer storage life.

Reduced Corrosion

Special ingredients have been added to improve corrosion resistance to ferrous metals by 60%, reducing rust on equipment and vehicles.
