Application Instructions

Recommended application rate: Approximately ½ to 1 cup per square yard for sidewalks and driveways.

1. Apply before or at the onset of snowfall or freezing rain to help prevent ice from bonding to surfaces.
2. Spread evenly over the area requiring treatment. A handheld or walk-behind spreader can help achieve even distribution.
3. Avoid excessive application. More product does not necessarily provide better results.
4. Reapply as needed during prolonged snowfall or icy conditions.
5. Once melting begins, remove slush and loosened ice with a shovel or plow.

Surface Compatibility and Safety

• Suitable for use on concrete when applied as directed.
• Do not use on new concrete less than 12 months old, decorative concrete, or stamped concrete.
• Use caution around vegetation and pets.
• Keep children and animals away from treated areas.
• Harmful if swallowed and may cause irritation to skin and paws.
• Sweep up residual material after the ice has melted to help minimize its impact on lawns, plants, and flooring.
